Forrest Scogin, Ph.D., is Professor of Psychology and member of the Clinical Geropsychology Concentration at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. His research has been primarily in the areas of psychotherapy, depression, and mental health and aging. He has received funding to support his activities from the National Institutes of Health, the Bureau of Health Professions, and the Retirement Research Foundation. He is a fellow of APA Divisions 12 and 20 and the Gerontological Society of America. He has served as the Chair of APA’s Committee on Aging and as President of the Society of Clinical Geropsychology.
